Timber or wooden plinths are perfect for art galleries, museums and showroom areas that do not require regular movement of the plinths.
Made from 16mm MDF, these plinths are reasonably heavy (around 15kg for an average size) and can support weights up to 150kg without additional reinforcing (talk to us if you have a super-heavy structure to put on your plinth. MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) is a dense composite timber board with a smooth finish and high strength.
The plinths are finished in white melamine laminate as standard, with custom colours available on request. The laminate provides a hard wearing, low sheen and washable surface with minimal light reflection.
The plinths can also be finished in painted coatings, which provides thousands of different colour and sheen options.
Standard widths are 300mm, 400mm, 500mm and 600mm square.
Heights range from 100mm to 1200mm.
A 'standard' plinth size is 400mm square and 900mm high.
